Respond to a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ)

A specific supplier use case for accessing an SAQ workspace, answering RFIs and submitting completed responses.

8 min readDownload guide
This is a client-specific use case prepared for Stealth Group Holdings Ltd. Project names and contacts in the original PDF are examples from that workflow; follow the equivalent project and contact instructions provided for your own SAQ.

1. Access the SAQ workspace

  1. Open the Due invitation email and create your account if required. Check spam or junk if it has not arrived.
  2. Sign in with your email and secure password.
  3. Select the organisation named in your invitation.
  4. From the dashboard, click See all projects.
  5. Find the questionnaire project, click Open Project, then open its RFI tab.

If you are not the correct respondent, contact the organisation that invited you with the replacement contact’s name, email address and position title.

2. Respond to the questionnaire

  1. Work through each request for information.
  2. Click Add Response.
  3. Enter or select the requested answer.
  4. Click Save.

To revise an answer, open the RFI’s actions menu, select Edit, update the response and save it again.

3. Attach supporting documents

  1. Review the full RFI list so you know which supporting documents are required.
  2. Open the Data Room and navigate to the folder specified by the RFI.
  3. Drag files or folders into the page, or use Upload Documents.
  4. Reopen the relevant RFI and select the uploaded files from Related Document(s).

File preparation

Use descriptive names with a year or date, avoid spaces, and upload final signed versions rather than drafts. Supported formats include PDF, Excel, CSV, Word, PNG, JPEG and email files.

For more upload detail, see Set up the Data Room.

4. Add public or private comments

Open the RFI’s Comment tab, choose Public or Private, enter the comment and click Save.

  • Public: visible to project users who have permission to view it.
  • Private: visible only to users internal to your organisation.

Use a comment for a question or discussion rather than as the formal RFI response.

5. Assign an RFI to another user

If another person should answer, open the RFI and select them from the assignee list. They must already have access to the project.

If they are not yet a project user, ask the inviting organisation to add them and provide their name, email address and position title.

6. Submit the completed responses

  1. Confirm every required RFI has a saved response and its related documents are attached.
  2. Select all completed RFIs.
  3. Click Approve.
  4. Notify the organisation’s nominated representative that the responses have been submitted.
